"Don’t burn down the House or, like the movie “The Menu”, don’t burn down the Island!"

Hello Friends,

One of my own original quotes is, “I’m type A about being type B”.
I’m continually trying to chill myself out, so I can maintain my chill outer persona.
It takes work to keep the fire inside going without burning down the house.
Or like in the movie “The Menu”, it takes work to not burn down the Island.
Lately it’s been the ritual of morning meditation to help myself stay calm.

How does this relate to art or the art I’m currently doing?
How do the meditations seem to translate into the painting composition made up of continuous clouds, sky, birds, and floating botanicals?

A few things to look forward to:

  • SPRING BREAK!
John and I are taking a short break soon and visiting Jekyll as I continue to make island art.
In the movie mentioned above, “The Menu,” Jekyll Island’s own “Driftwood Beach” is featured. These are the scenes where I draw my inspiration.

You can always find prints of the Island series or originals on my website.

Coming Soon:
Show number #3 at Demun Healing! Why question a good thing?
It works and I love it! Opening in April. Date to come soon. Show at the Center of Spiritual Living, opening in June details to come.
